Fairfield CDAT has continued to build on their successful activity from 2021, to provide a series of activities that encourage positive healthy choices with specific localised information on the impacts of steroid use, with a strong focus on boys and men aged 14-18, through hosting a sporting event.

They engaged with young people from local schools to deliver the a full day event to affect positive behavior change and healthier decisions within the youth engaged in the Fairfield LGA.

The event, ‘Fairfield World Cup – Stronger Without’, was hugely successful. There was a fantastic response from those who attended indicating the event had increased their awareness about harms associated with alcohol and drug use along with now knowing about where they can seek support from services locally.
